Morphology

Scapes22-58 cm long, terete.
Leavessessile.
Blades10-20 cm long x 12-15 cm wide, tip acute.
Flowersessile.
Sepalspale green, 3-6 cm long x 1.2-1.5 cm wide.
Petals4.8-8 cm long x 2.2 -3 cm wide, white, cream, rarely pinkish near the base, tips acute to obtuse.
Anthers11-20 mm long, yellow, with latrorse dehiscence.
Ovary6-11 mm long.
Stigmas4-7 mm long.
Fruitgreen to purple-green.

Anthesis

Flowering from mid March to late April.


Distribution

United States: California, Oregon, and Washington.
