Distribution

Description

Flowering summer to fall.
Height 20-75 cm.
Leaves one to three; blade oblong to lanceolate; bracts reduced distally.
Inflorescence      a spike.
Flowers
yellow to orange, resupinate; lip margins dentate to erose, undulate
to rarely entire; lateral sepal margin entire; dorsal sepal margin erose to dentate.
Spur terete, reduced at apex.
Rostellum lobes oriented downwards.
Viscidia circular to subcircular.

 

 

Habitat

Wet woods, pine barrens.  Wet sandy soil.
