Description

Fruiting period March to May (June).
Culm height 20 - 80  cm.
Leaf 1.3 - 1.9   mm wide.
Terminal spike    androgynous.
Lateral spike androgynous to pistillate.

Style deciduous.

Habitat

Riparian flood plains, wet woodlands, seepy areas.
