Description

Height 10 - 70  cm.
Leaf 0.8 - 5   mm wide.
Terminal spike staminate; or androgynous.
Lateral spike pistillate.
Perigynium planoconvex in cross section.
Achene trigonous  in cross section.
Style deciduous.

Habitat

Fens, wet meadows.
